(GWINNETT-METRO ATLANTA) February 06, 2017 – Partnership Gwinnett, Georgia’s largest local economic development organization, announced today that Megan McDonald has joined the team in the role of Project Manager. McDonald will work with and represent existing organizations and prospect companies in the Technology and Life Sciences industries.

In her role of Project Manager, McDonald will be responsible for planning and managing economic development projects and activities in her targeted industry sectors of Technology and Life Sciences. She will work together with community partners to support the goals outlined in the Partnership Gwinnett Community and Economic Development strategy, implement programs supporting existing and prospect companies in her targeted business sectors, and will serve as a liaison with the targeted industry organizations.
McDonald joins Partnership Gwinnett with an experienced background working in the field of economic development. She previously worked for the State of Florida Economic Development team and the regional Orlando Economic Development Commission, where she oversaw and managed expansion and recruitment projects across various industries.
“Megan’s proven experience and confidence in developing and managing complex projects makes her a great addition to continue the implementation of the Partnership Gwinnett strategy,” said Andrew Carnes, Director of Economic Development for Partnership Gwinnett. “We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and to Gwinnett County.”
Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Central Florida. She also holds a Basic Economic Development Certificate from the University of Southern Mississippi.
